Congratulations
to all the Miller School Irish Dancers who competed in the
Eastern Canadian Region Oireachtas in November:
Congratulations to Majella Kostiuk-
Girls Under 16 on 16th place (Nationals qualifier).
Congratulations to the
Under 9- Ceili team on your 3rd place medals.
Congratulations to the
Under 9- 4 hand team on your 6th place medals.
Congratulations to the
Under 12- Ceili team on your 8th place medals.
Congratulations to the
Under 12- 4 hand team on your 15th place medals.
Congratulations to the
Over 15- 4 hand team on your 9th place medals.
The Sunday morning mini-feis was a new event this year. Amanda,
Carly, Gabrielle, Hannah, Hayley, Hunter, Marina, Meghan,
Olivia, Sasha, Talia, and Tara danced beautifully.
Congratulations to Amanda, Carly, Gabrielle, Hayley, Hunter,
Olivia, Sasha, and Tara who medalled in their Traditional Sets
and were called to the podium. Special congratulations go to
Carly Markham who placed 3rd and to Gabrielle
Conaghan who placed 4th.
Well done. We are so proud of you all!

Dance- Feis Season 2009 is here!
Feis season
has started and students having been working hard preparing.
The students did very well at their first feis on February 28th
2009. Congratulations to all and a special thanks to parents and
families for their continued support of all of our dancers!

Patrick's Day!
Miller School Dancers are busily preparing for all of
our shows. This is also our first year we will take part in the
Toronto St. Paddy's day Parade! Happy St. Patrick's Day to all!

Dance- Feb 2009-- Miller School Recital A Huge Success!
The Miller School Recital held at the beautiful Gibson
Centre in Alliston was a huge success. Dancers from all
locations performed and did an excellent job! Thanks to parents
and extended families for their continued support!

Dance Fundraising Initiative - Quilt for Raffle!
March 1, 2008 - A special thanks to Zoe's Grandmother in
Barrie for creating and donating a quilt made in the Miller
School colours. Tickets are being sold to continue to raise
money for school costumes so get yours today. The draw for
the beautiful quilt will take place at the Barrie recital in
May.

The Miller
School Of Irish dance celebrates its two year anniversary of
operation. In those two years with the help and
support of parents and students, we continue to build a
top-notch dancing school. Thanks to you all!

March 1, 2008 - By the end of March 2008, the Miller
School will own 24 Miller School costumes and 24 Miller
School Beginner outfits.

Dance at the Eastern Canadian Oireachtas 2007
March 1, 2008- At our first
Oireachtas (Eastern Canadian
Regional Championships held in Niagara Falls, Nov.2007),
Miller School Dancers danced very well in their solo
and team dances. Congratulations to Stacey, who re-called in
her solo dances and to Jemma, Mikaela, and Tyffany for their
team efforts. Way to go girls! We look forward to sending
more teams in 2008!

The Miller School of Irish Dance has successfully completed
the design and construction of eight school dresses. Eight
more are in the making. Look to our website soon for
pictures of our dancers as they start wearing our Miller
School costume.

Miller School Now Open in Barrie and Innisfil!
August 31, 2006 --
We would like to
welcome all of our Barrie and Innisfil families to the
Miller School of Irish Dance. Our school opened in Innisfil
in July and we are now expanding by offering classes in
Barrie in September. Thanks to all our dancers for working
so hard and dancing so well this summer. Our Innisfil camp
was a great success! See you in September and please look to

First Session Truly a Success
March 2006 --
Our first session at the Miller
School of Irish Dance was an incredible success. The students had a
wonderful time at our St. Patrick's Day party, and had an opportunity
to perform for their families.
